RUNNER (DRIVER & DELIVERY SERVICES OFFICER)

Job Description

Are you a dependable, safety-conscious driver who takes pride in getting people and parcels safely to their destinations? Join The Run to support scheduled school transport, door-to-door deliveries and other authorised assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and drop off school-going children on scheduled routes, with authorised handovers.
• Corporate messenger services for select clients.
• Complete door-to-door deliveries, collections and approved errands promptly.
• Check vehicle safety, cleanliness, fuel and maintenance requirements daily.
• Keep school transport, delivery and proof-of-delivery records.
• Communicate effectively with parents, customers and management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Class B driving licence, appropriate to the vehicle.
• Minimum 2+ years of responsible driving experience is required and a satisfactory driving record.
• Good knowledge of Gaborone, ability to use smartphone maps and keep accurate trip records.
• Punctual, honest, courteous and especially vigilant when transporting children.
• Courier or school transport experience is an advantage.
