Scullery Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Scullery Worker to support our kitchen operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans.
• Dry, stack and store clean items correctly.
• Keep kitchen floors, work surfaces, fridges and freezers clean and sanitized.
• Clean kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens and mixers.
• Empty and sanitize rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and storing supplies.
• Support with basic food preparation (e.g. washing and peeling vegetables).

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum qualification: BGCSE or equivalent.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
