BRAAI MASTER (GRILL & FOOD SALES OPERATOR)

Job Description

Can you grill great food, create a welcoming customer experience and manage a busy food stand? The Run Hotbox is looking for a hands-on Braai Master to prepare and sell fresh grilled meals and refreshments at authorised locations and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, grill and serve fresh food to consistent quality and portion standards.
• Welcome customers, take orders and sell meals and non-alcoholic refreshments.
• Set up, clean and safely operate the braai station and equipment.
• Manage stock, wastage, daily sales and cash reconciliation.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, customer service and site presentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Practical grilling and food-preparation skills; preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Sound understanding of food hygiene, safe storage and contamination prevention.
• Customer-service flair, basic numeracy and confidence with cash and sales records.
• Honest, energetic, reliable and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Available for scheduled mobile trading, events and weekend shifts.
