OFFICE CLEANER (X293 POSITIONS)

Job Description

• The Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) invites applications from suitable candidates and seeks the services of talented, self-driven, experienced and highly motivated citizens of Botswana to fill the following vacant positions across different Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) in Gaborone.
• VACANCY: Office Cleaner (x293 positions)
• SALARY SCALE: A3 (P33,084 – P34,740.00) per annum.
• LEAVE: 20 working days per annum.
• TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent and Pensionable

Key Responsibilities

• Cleans offices and furniture, including dusting and sweeping daily, scrubbing and polishing floors, scrubbing and cleaning windows, when deemed necessary or as directed by supervisor.
• Cleans and washes toilets, applying disinfectants provided at own discretion.
• Washes cleaning material and stores them in a safe place.
• Advises supervisor of any need to replenish materials.
• Prepares tea for members of staff, washes all cups, saucers, spoons and teapot after use.
• Undertakes any other related duties as required to meet exigencies of the service.

Qualifications & Experience

• To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have a minimum of Primary School Leaving Exam (PSLE) certificate.

• Experience as a Cleaner will be an added advantage.
