Vacancies have arisen for a Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Medical Laboratory Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Overall Day to Day Supervision of a team of Medical Laboratory Scientists.
• To perform a wide range of procedures in all disciplines/sections of the Medical Laboratory and other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
• Provide Leadership in the implementation of Quality Management Systems.
• Coordinate Internal Quality Audits, Review QMS Activities and Management Reviews

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences Degree or an equivalent from a recognized institution. Masters Degree an added advantage
• Registration with Botswana Health Professions Council.
• Previous experience in Laboratory Management.
• At Least 5 years experience in the multi-disciplinary sections of laboratory.
• Advanced Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 15189-2022)
