Job Description

Emergency Assist 991 invites applications from suitably qualified Pharmacy Technicians to join our professional healthcare team. We are looking for organised and dependable professionals who can support effective medication management and maintain high standards of pharmaceutical record keeping and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacist in medication-management activities
• Assist with receiving, handling and storage of medicines
• Support pharmaceutical stock and inventory control
• Monitor medicine expiry dates
• Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records
• Assist with controlled medicine records and registers
• Support medication reconciliation processes
• Assist with compliant disposal processes for expired or damaged pharmaceuticals
• Support medication-management reporting
• Maintain high standards of pharmaceutical governance and compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification
• Appropriate current professional registration/licensing
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical stock and inventory management
• Knowledge of appropriate medicine storage and handling
• Strong pharmaceutical record-keeping skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
