GABZ FM is looking for a qualified and experienced Sales & Marketing Officer to join their team in Gaborone. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development, client acquisition and revenue growth.
• Prospect for new clients, develop leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Achieve agreed monthly sales targets through direct sales and business development.
• Manage and grow existing client accounts through upselling, cross-selling and client retention.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and sales pitches to identify and respond to client marketing needs.
• Develop proposals, quotations, media plans and customised advertising solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
• Identify opportunities to commercialize radio, digital, events, activations, sponsorships and station-owned platforms.
• Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, activations and promotional initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of client campaigns and advertising schedules.
• Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline and marketing role activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/ in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• 1-3 years’ experience in sales, business development, account management or marketing, preferably in media, advertising or a related industry.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and generate revenue.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills. Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
