REGULATORY PHARMACIST

Job Description

Cospharm is looking for a qualified and experienced REGULATORY PHARMACIST (1 POST) BASED IN GABORONE to join their team in Gaborone. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review and file regulatory dossiers for new product registrations and product variations.
• Advise on and coordinate the approval and registration of pharmaceutical and complementary medicine products.
• Ensure that all company products comply with the requirements of the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA).
• Provide strategic regulatory guidance to senior management throughout the development of new products.
• Coordinate and manage regulatory inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Current registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in regulatory affairs.
• Previous work experience within a medicines regulatory authority.
• A certificate or other recognized training in compiling regulatory dossiers in the SADC Common Technical Document (CTD) format.
