OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Description

SAVE Wildlife Conservation Botswana is seeking for a highly motivated and experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to support the effective administration, coordination, and day-to-functioning of the organisation and its conservation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily organisational and administrative operations
• Coordinate logistics for conservation, and community projects.
• Manage procurement, suppliers, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and inventories.
• Support budgeting, financial administration, reporting, and compliance.
• Coordinate Staff, volunteers, consultants and service providers.
• Develop and maintain operational systems, policies, and procedures.
• Support grant implementation, donor reporting, and project planning.
• Ensure compliance with Botswana’s legal, regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Represent SAVE professionally with partners, communities, government agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or relevant qualification in business administration, operations management, project management or a related field.
• At least 5 years or more relevant operational or administrative management experience.
• Experience working with NGOs, conservation organisations, rural programs or community-based projects is an advantage.
• Strong organisational budgeting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital administration systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid Drivers’ license and willingness to travel to remote areas
• Demonstrate commitment to wildlife conservation and community development
