Job Description

Reliance Foundries (Pty) Ltd invites applications from suitably experienced candidates for the position of Oxygen / Nitrogen Gas Plant Operator.

Key Responsibilities

Independent operation and maintenance of an industrial Oxygen/Nitrogen Gas Production Plant, including air separation unit, compressors, pumps, air lines and associated equipment. Carrying out plant start-up and shutdown, routine operation, preventive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.

Qualifications & Experience

• The applicant must have practical experience in the independent operation and maintenance of an industrial Oxygen/Nitrogen Gas Production Plant, including air separation unit, compressors, pumps, air lines and associated equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of carrying out plant start-up and shutdown, routine operation, preventive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ practical experience operating and maintaining Oxygen/Nitrogen or similar industrial gas production plants is essential.
