Advisor Stakeholder and China Relations

Job Description

This role reports to the Senior Advisor Stakeholder & China Relations and will be responsible for delivering day-to-day operational execution of MMG’s Chinese Champion strategy and supporting all shareholder, diplomatic and Chinese stakeholder engagement work.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the daily operational liaison between KCM and major shareholders (CMC, CMN, CNIC).
• Supporting the supervisor on shareholder senior delegation visits: complete agenda drafting, venue & logistics arrangement.
• Supporting sustained routine communication with Chinese Embassy in Botswana, Botswana Embassy in Beijing, Chinese Enterprises Association and other China-linked stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Journalism and Communications, International Relations, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in international relations or related disciplines.
• Language skills English (essential), Mandarin (essential).
• Solid practical experience in Chinese official writing, capable of drafting standard reports, corporate briefings/speeches and publicity manuscripts.
