EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

Job Description

• Cresta Marakanelo Limited (CML) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized professional to fill the role of Executive Housekeeper.
• Lead and manage all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and linen control
• Develop and maintain housekeeping standards in line with CML policies
• Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff
• Monitor cleanliness, maintenance needs, and inventory levels
• Manage departmental budgets and control costs effectively
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Coordinate with maintenance and front office teams to optimize room availability
• Handle guest concerns related to housekeeping services promptly
• Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory management, and health & safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory management, and health & safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards
