• Role overview
• Lead the lodge finance function: manage cash, creditors, debtors, stock and statutory compliance; prepare timely management accounts and forecasts; support year-end audit; and supervise a small accounts team to ensure accurate financial control and commercial support to operations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and cashflow forecasts.
• Maintain daily cashbook, bank reconciliations and petty cash controls.
• Manage guest ledger, corporate/tour operator invoicing and collections.
• Process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments and reconcile supplier statements.
• Oversee monthly stock counts, valuation, variance investigation and reorder controls for F&B, bar and retail.
• Maintain fixed asset register, prepare capex summaries and support audits.
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, WHT and other statutory returns.
• Lead and develop the accounts team; coordinate with operations and procurement.
• Requirements
• Qualification: Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent; Must be a BICA member.
• Experience: 3-5 years’ accounting experience, ideally in hospitality or lodge operations.
• Skills: Strong Excel; experience with Pastel/Sage similar; familiarity with PMS/POS advantageous.
• Attributes: Attention to detail, resilience under seasonal pressure, strong communication, problem solving and stakeholder management.
• Month-end and statutory submissions on time.
• GL coding accuracy ≥95%.
• Overdue debtors ≤3% of receivables.
• Stock reconciled by the 5th of each month; acceptable shrinkage and variance controls.
• Zero statutory penalties.

Qualifications & Experience
