Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the supply chain of goods and services in accordance with the Procurement Policy to meet the needs of the Fund and organize and control the cost effective, value for money purchase of goods and services. The position ensures effective management and disbursement of the Fund’s assets and provides product-specific training to junior staff to ensure adherence to the Fund’s procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience in procurement, supplies, materials management and logistical services with two (2) years at supervisory level. A Bachelor’s Degree in Supplies and Materials Management or a related field or certified professional from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
