BUSINESS SURGE T/A FREEBIRD POULTRY is looking for a qualified and experienced Broiler Farms Accounts Clerk to join their team in Gaborone. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily records of bird populations, mortality, culls, transfers and dispatches.
• Record and reconcile feed deliveries, feed consumption, stock balances and water usage.
• Maintain vaccination, medication, veterinary treatment and biosecurity records.
• Monitor and report flock performance indicators, including mortality, feed consumption and body weight.
• Collect and verify production data from poultry-house supervisors and attendants.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly farm production reports to management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documents for all farm transactions.
• Identify and report discrepancies, unusual mortality, stock shortages and production variances to the Farm Manager.
• Ensure farm records are properly filed, up to date and readily available for audits and inspections.
• Support compliance with company procedures, biosecurity

Qualifications & Experience

• and applicable poultry production standards. Minimum Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, AAT, Animal Science, Animal Production, Poultry Science, Agricultural Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in poultry farming, production administration or stock control will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, record-keeping and organisational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
