Senior Pastor

Job Description

Charis International Ministries is seeking a Spirit-filled, visionary, and mature Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, pastoral oversight, and strategic direction to the ministry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong spiritual and pastoral leadership to the congregation.
• Preach and teach the Word of God with biblical accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Lead the church in prayer, worship, evangelism, discipleship, and missions.
• Provide pastoral care, counselling, and spiritual guidance to members.
• Develop and mentor pastors, ministry leaders, and emerging leaders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Be a committed and mature Christian with a clear calling to pastoral ministry, with 3 to 5years of experience as a senior pastor or equivalent.
• Hold recognized theological or pastoral, and counselling training qualifications and preferably at degree level or equivalent.
• Have significant pastoral and church leadership experience.
• Demonstrate strong preaching, teaching, leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Be a person of integrity, humility, wisdom, and spiritual discernment.
• Be willing to serve collaboratively with church leadership and ministry teams.
