Key Responsibilities
- Support Bank of Botswana licensing requirements
- Oversee bureau de change operations
- Manage foreign currency transactions, cash controls & reconciliations
- Establish controls for remittance services
- Oversee AML, customer due diligence & financial crime controls
- Develop procedures, training & customer service standards
- Manage operational risk, compliance & internal controls
- Liaise with the Bank of Botswana and relevant authorities
- Manage staff, service providers & business partners
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in foreign exchange, bureau de change, banking, remittances or payments
- Experience supervising operations
- Strong knowledge of AML, CDD & financial crime controls
- Experience in foreign currency transactions, cash and reconciliation controls
- Strong leadership, integrity & communication skills
