FULL-TIME TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING LECTURER
Job Description
The Telecommunications Engineering Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Telecommunications related courses. The role involves preparing lesson plans, facilitating lectures, assessing students, and supporting academic development in line with institutional standards. The lecturer is expected to apply industry knowledge, promote practical understanding, and ensure students are equipped with relevant skills for the Telecommunications Engineering profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Telecommunications Engineering courses (Microprocessor & Microcontroller Technology, Network Engineering, Mobile Communications, Network fundamentals, Individual Project Coordination, Research Methods in Engineering, Embedded Systems Design, Analogue Circuit Design, Optical Communications, Microwave Satellite communications).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Assess and evaluate student performance in line with institutional policies.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students.
- Supervise students’ projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ teaching or industry experience in Telecommunications Engineering field.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methods and assessment practices.
- BQA Evaluation of Qualification Report
- BQA Assessor Registration
- BQA Moderator Registration
- ERB Registration
- ERB Practicing Certificate
