Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana Citizens for the above mentioned post tenable in NORTH EAST DISTRICT COUNCIL.

Key Responsibilities

• Guards Government Buildings and property by patrolling the premises and ensures that windows and doors are securely closed and locked.
• Maintains a record of Government movable property taken in and out of the premises to prevent theft of Government property.
• Checks all fences and enclosures for unauthorised access and reporting any defects to the Supervisor.
• Reports all cases of theft and burglary immediately to the supervisor and police
• Hoists the National Flag and lowers it at designated times
• Records in the diary all suspicious occurrences to assist in cases of theft and burglary
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum PSLE certificate
• Direct Entry. Experience in security will be an added advantage
• Age: 18-59 years
