INTERNAL AUDITOR 24 MONTHS CONTRACT

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Manager Internal Audit, the incumbent will be responsible for carrying out financial and operational audits as assigned in accordance with internal auditing programmes and in compliance with international internal auditing standards to identify any weaknesses in the system of internal controls and to make recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce potential risks and safeguard the BNSC assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely implementation of the annual Audit plan
• Reports on adherence to organisational processes and procedures
• Adherence to internal audit standards
• Reports on adherence to governance standards
• Ensures minimisation and closure of audit quires

Qualifications & Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or related, should be a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Botswana. 5 years experience in the auditing environment of which 2 years should have been in internal auditing.
