Job Description

Native Force Creations (Pty) Ltd t/a Apjakal IT Solutions invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a three-month, fixed-term position based in Gaborone. The successful candidate will support time-sensitive development and maintenance commitments for business-critical systems used by our diamond and jewellery-sector clients. The role requires practical software development skills, strong analytical ability and an understanding of enterprise business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise and support applications using the Frappe framework, ERPNEXT, Python and SQL.
• Translate client operational requirements into automated workflows, reports and business applications.
• Support quotation generation, inventory management, master-data administration and operational reporting.
• Troubleshoot production issues, maintain data accuracy and provide on-site client support.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Frappe/ERPNEXT, Python, databases and business-process automation.
• Experience in enterprise master-data management, data analysis or operational systems support.
• Understanding of mining, diamond processing or jewellery company operations, particularly inventory traceability, production workflows and quotation processes, will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to deliver against time-sensitive client requirements.
• A postgraduate qualification in Data Science or a related field will be an added advantage.
