Job Description

District Commissioner is looking for a qualified and experienced Security Officer to join their team in Mochudi. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a record of Land Board movable property taken in and out of the premises to prevent theft of Land Board property
• Search and records every vehicle coming in and going out of Land Board premises.
• Records in the diary all suspicious occurrences to assist in cases of theft and Burglary.
• Hoists the national Flag and lowers it at designated times.
• Checks all fences and enclosures for possible unauthorized access and ensures that the entire fencing is in a good state and reports any defects to the supervisor.
• Reports all cases of theft to the supervising officer and helps police with investigations.
• Checks that no private property is kept/brought to/within Land Board premises without prior authority
• Ensures that all in-coming and out-going stores are checked against vouchers and invoices.
• Maintains gate register for visitors
• Provide security services to Land Board staff by preventing unstable/dangerous individuals from entering land board premises.
• Patrolling Land Board premises before hand over to night watchmen to ensure that windows, doors and any other outlet are securely closed and locked.
• Direct visitors to the main entrance or reception/help desk
• Undertake any other related duties as assigned by management

Direct entry Experience in security services will be an added advantage
