Core Marker

Job Description

Reporting to the site supervisor the Core Marker will be responsible for properly labeling, measuring and organizing core samples. Ensuring safety protocols are followed and supporting the drill rig operator in daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly labeling, marking, measuring and organizing core samples to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
• Ensuring core samples are correctly arranged, stored and handled to prevent damage or loss
• Maintaining accurate records of core samples and related drilling information
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area
• preparing drilling sites
• assisting with the transportation of drilling materials

Qualifications & Experience

• BGCSE or equivalent
• 3 yrs prior experience required
• Ability to accurately label and mark core samples and depths
• Preparing drilling sites for operation.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
