Finance Manager

Job Description

Security Services Botswana is looking for a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Francistown. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, banking relations, and overdraft facilities
• Lead process automation and IT governance improvements
• Supervise accounts team and ensure timely reconciliations
• Develop and implement internal controls and compliance frameworks
• Prepare management reports and board presentations
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory requirement

Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA Membership (or equivalent professional qualification)
• Mandatory BICA Membership
• AAT Level 4 Diploma (or higher)
• Expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and audit standards
• Strong academic foundation (Cambridge IGCSE or equivalent)
• At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with proven leadership in audit, compliance, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and financial controls.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in ERP & Payroll systems (e.g., Sage Evolution200, Easy Roster, Peopleware, etc)
• Valid Driver’s Licesnse
