John Mackenzie School is looking for a qualified and experienced VACANCIES : TEACHING POSITIONS to join their team in Francistown. Please review the key responsibilities and qualifications listed below for more details on this full time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• High School: Biology Teacher, Art and Design Teacher, Geography Teacher, History Teacher
• Primary School: Early Childhood Development (ECD) Teacher (Citizen Only), Junior Primary Teacher
• Mackenzie House: Boarding House Matron

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a relevant, recognised teaching qualification appropriate to the position applied for: Biology Teacher – Bachelor of Education, Art and Design Teacher – Diploma in Education, Geography Teacher – Bachelor of Education, History Teacher – Bachelor of Education, Pre-Primary Teacher – Early Childhood Development (ECD) Diploma, Junior Primary Teacher – ECD Diploma
• Meet the applicable Botswana Qualifications Authority (BOA) qualification recognition requirements.
• Hold a valid teaching permission to teach and the required professional registration and teaching licence, including BOTEP CO registration/licensing where applicable under current requirements.
• Demonstrate sound subject knowledge, effective classroom practice and the ability to deliver an engaging, learner centred curriculum.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, initiative and a commitment to the holistic development of learners.
• Be willing to contribute actively to the wider life of the school.
• Experience in an ISAB School is an added advantage.
