Job Description

The Ministry for state President, Defence and Security invites applications from highly motivated, well experienced and self-driven candidates to fill vacant position tenable at the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture in Bobirwa District. The posts are tenable at the following locations, Selebi Phikwe (x3), and Bobonong (x2).

Key Responsibilities

• Guards Government Buildings and property by patrolling the premises and ensures that windows and doors are securely closed and locked.
• Maintains a record of Government movable property taken in and out of the premises to prevent theft of Government property.
• Checks all fences and enclosures for unauthorized access and reporting any defects to the Supervisor.
• Reports all cases of theft and burglary immediately to the supervisor and police.
• Hoists the national Flag and lowers it at designated times.
• Records in the diary all suspicious occurrences to assist in cases of theft and Burglary.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must have a minimum of Primary School Leaving Exam (PSLE) certificate. Aged between 18 and 59 years.
